Hangtown Fallout: Jett Lawrence’s limp sweep and what it means for Pro Motocross — plus MXGP factory shake-up

Jett Lawrence left Hangtown with the overall 450 victory after winning both motos on race day, but he crossed the paddock with a visible limp after Moto 1 and spent the post-race press sessions explaining how the weekend went for him. The win preserves early-season momentum and forces rival teams to weigh whether to chase him aggressively or manage pace across motos to exploit any fitness limitations. In the 250 class Levi Kitchen stood atop the podium with steady second-place moto finishes that underlined his championship potential; the 250 standings remain fluid and reward consistency over single-moto speed.

Practical takeaway: expect rival teams to monitor Lawrence’s medical updates and gate choices for the next round — an officially reported conservative approach to starts or moto management could open the door for challengers who can turn consistent mid-pack launches into podiums.
