Round 3 (Thunder Valley) — Jett Lawrence wins both 450 motos despite riding through injury, takes the points lead; Jo Shimoda tops the 250 overall while MXGP transplants Lucas and Sacha Coenen make immediate impact.
Penalties, mistakes and consistency shaped the result more than one-lap speed
Thunder Valley hinged on a handful of moments with outsized consequences: Haiden Deegan lost ground after an off-track excursion and penalty, Hunter Lawrence gave away points with late Moto 2 mistakes, and Jett Lawrence turned two controlled motos into the 450 points lead. In 250, Jo Shimoda took the overall in a class that remains wide open. The weekend reinforced a simple championship lesson: consistency and error avoidance are now as decisive as outright pace.
