KTM rebuilds its 250 title attack around DiFrancesco and Bennick

DiFrancesco brings momentum from a 2026 campaign in which he finished runner-up in 250SMX, fifth in 250MX and fourth in the 250SX Western Division. Bennick finished third in 250SX East and reached the 250SMX podium during the playoffs. Both therefore arrive as emerging title candidates rather than long-term projects without proven professional results.

The scale of the roster is the significant development. Beaumer remains with the team, while Coenen adds Grand Prix experience after finishing third in the 2026 MX2 standings. KTM will consequently have four young riders available across AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross and the SMX Finals.

That depth gives the factory several potential routes into the 2027 title fights, although it also raises the importance of managing regional assignments, testing priorities and support evenly across the group. The new program will debut at Anaheim on January 9, 2027.
