Official factory entries, rider signings and calendar returns dominate MXGP headlines — Pro Motocross/SMX moves east for Round 21 at High Point this weekend
High Point timetable and immediate championship questions after Thunder Valley
What happened: Pro Motocross shifts to High Point Raceway (Mt. Morris, PA) for Round 4 / SMX Round 21 on June 20. Promotocross has published the official weekend schedule and event page, with qualifying and race times confirmed. Thunder Valley (June 13) left the SMX / Pro Motocross standings shaken: Jett Lawrence claimed the red plate and momentum, while Haiden Deegan’s track‑cutting penalty and Hunter Lawrence’s mistakes reshuffled results.
Why it matters: High Point is a technical East Coast classic — traffic, tight lines and ruts will punish mistakes and reward riders who can convert Thunder Valley momentum into consistent gate-to-flag pace. For title context: Jett’s red plate means he carries both expectation and target status to PA; Hunter and Haiden must show short-term answers to narrow the points gap ahead of the next round.
Practical note: Promotocross published the official High Point schedule (June 20). Expect busy qualifying windows on Saturday and a full race program on Sunday. Teams will focus on setup for High Point’s soil and tighter flow versus Thunder Valley’s wide, high‑altitude layout.

Supplementary commentary: NBC Sports coverage and analysis of Thunder Valley outcomes and rider penalties are useful context for the weekend narrative.
